I have an Andrew Jackson Smart b. 7 Dec 1827, son of Joseph Smart, b. 16 Feb 1792 London, England and Jane T Cockfair, B. 16 Feb 1792, Bloomfield , NJ. I am descended from his brother Robert Thomas Smart 30 Aug 1818. My Smarts emigrated and lived in Long Island, NY and then moved to Troy, Rensselaer, NY.
