He married but I do not have the name of his wife. They had five children, John, William, and Alexander Charles 9 Oct 1805- 1 Feb 1886 and 2 daughters. Thomas came to Canada about 1810 to Ontario. Alexander, my gt gt grandfather followed his father to Canada in 1826. I have found information about William Smart born 1800 and I wonder if he was the brother of Alexander.
