I do not know the name of his wife. After she died he immigrated to Almonte, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada in 1810. His son Alexander was born in 1805 and came to Canada in 1826. He was my Great Grandfather. Alexander had two brothers John and William. I wonder if Jean Smart may have been the wife of Thomas. Do you think there is a connection to your ancesters?
