I'm not sure where he first appeared. The three children I have listed for him were all born in Penn. William J. 1823, Nancy Jane 1828, James 1838 I doubt that was all of the children because of the age breaks. In the 1860 census they were in Sullivan, Missouri. By 1870 John and wife Ruth were living with James in Buchanan, Sullivan, Missouri. By 1880 James had moved to Kansas where the last of his 8 children were born, and of course John had died in 1976. William however, was still in Missouri for the 1880 census. Sounds like they don't match up to well? But I'm really grasping for anything on this line. My husband's line comes through James.
