It is really tough to find any information because we just don't have enough information. My grandma was not sure who her dad was because after her mom had died she was put into an orphangie. She had remebered her grandparents had taken her from the orphaanage (not sure of spelling) and she was put into the trunk of the car. A big mystery with my grandma, I don't know if the mystery will be solved. My grandma had always said that she didn't have a birth-certificate she was 1 yrs old. Cradle roll is what she called it.she was born indiana or illonois. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. You really need to know Sarah's maiden name or her husband Smart's first name. It would also help to know what state she was born in or where she was married (if not in Indiana where your grandma was born). It's possible from what you have said that Sarah was married after the 1910 census, had your grandma Eveline Smart in 1913, and died before the 1920 census. This would mean that it would be very tough to find a record of her with her Smart surname. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
