Not sure if you are familiar with the publications of Richard E. Cowling who wrote about Austro-Hungarian immigrants in Colorado. His publications can be found in the Lake County (Leadville, CO and Denver, Libraries. I reviwed my copy of his publication, Colorado Genealogical Etcetera Volume XV -1991- Austro Hungarian and other Immigrants Lake County, Colorado, that contained 7 page references to Krizman, none referenced Maria or a HOCEVAR marriage, One reference to a HOCEVAR (Agnes). You are probably aware that US variant spellings of H. I spoke to Richard Cowling many years ago at which time he was working on a HOCEVAR and variant spellings of that name for Colorado A-H I. immigrants, I am unsure if he ever published a document on that research. I am researching my GM, Maria HOCEVAR. of Primcavas #19, 'Kovac". b. 1878. I have multiple generations identi! fied.. Large families in which the given name Joseph is prevalent. None match the dob of 1893 for your Joseph. You mention "Blato" I have not cofirmed my suspicions but believe it is not that distant from Primcavas (Ambrus Parish?). I realize this is really speculatI in that HOCECAR is very common surname. but it sounds like you are at a dead end. I offer it for what it is. My GGF,GM & rsiblings emigrated to Northern Minnesota!
