Hi I'm searching for my great grandfather Jacob Grahek. He was born in 1840. I think possibly he could have been from what is now Slovenia. As I'm new to family searching in Slovenia could someone please tell me a few good websites to get me started? Thanks. Also, I think I have found another family link of another Grahek that was born in Metlika Slovenia. Her name was Katherine Grahek and she was born in 1897. She married a Rudoph Kremesec who was also born in Metlika in 1893. I know that using church records to find information can be helpful. How do I go about finding church records for Metlika?
