I am searching for any information on my grgrandmother.Information is as follows She was born Magdaline Fabic in 1857 in the village of Liplje. To the best of my knowledge her father died, and she was raised by Mijo Pavlenic and Dora Kaparic. I dont know when she came to the U.S. but in 1891 she married John Ostrovich/Ostronic. He died before 1894, because in 1894 she remarried to John Novak. I have been searching for information on her for a long time, and also searching for John Ostronic who died somewhere in Pittsburgh Pa. but cannot find a obit for him, a cemetery on where he is even buried! It seems that where they lived is even distroyed and was replaced with a highway in Pa. Any information is greatly appreciated as I am at a loss on where to search now. It seems John Ostronic wasnt even in U.S. long enough to have become a citizen. patty [email protected]
