Dear List: I need church records (Roman Catholic) from Ribnica from the pre-1770 era. Does anyone have experience in Slovenia in general and in Ribnica in particular? How far do the church records go back? Where are they kept? How easy or difficult is it to gain access to them? Whatabout other documents from the region? Where are those kept?
