Mary: Thank you for the good material you have posted on your site. I did see some familiar names. My grandmother Leopoldina Rostan Tonin and her cousin Ivana Kauchnic were active in a ladies group that they helped to form in Waukegan. I have a copy of that material but my grandmother's name is mispelled. Needs to be corrected in the records somehow. Also Greatgrandfather Janez Rostan came to America in 1890 on the Elba to New York. He then went to Ely. How long he remained there I do not know yet. He moved from there and then about 1910 went back to Mirna, Slovenia. Maybe Ely was too cold for him!
