I am looking for information pertaining to VICTOR TROHA (b. Oct 14, 1904 in Yugoslavia, or possibly Slovenia - d. Jan 1929, in Kenosha, WI, USA). Victor moved to the US in 1920. (Victor could have also been known as VICTOR BORAK). Victor married JOSEPHINE RUFFALO in Kenosha, WI, 1929. Victor was the son of MR & MRS FRANK TROHA of Yugoslavia (or possibly Slovenia. Mrs Frank Troha's name is unknown.) Victor was one of five children (he also had 2 brothers & 2 sisters). It is not known if either his parents or siblings migrated to the US. Victor does not seem to be a common Slovenian name. He may have changed his first name when moving to the US or he may have migrated from a city in Slovenia not far from the Italian border. If anyone has any information about Victor Troha, any Troha's referenced in this email, or tips on researching Slovenia ancestry, please contact me at [email protected] Thank You!
