I just saw this message. There must be a connection. I checked and Hrusevica currently has 160 some residents and there has been no change since the last census. I'm sure this is a tiny village and most if not all living there are somehow related to each other, and possibly to us. My Franceska Fabjan married Alojze Gulic - who was born in 1856. Franceska would be close in age to your Maria Fabjan. Interesting also that we have Slovenian cousins named Rudess. (Rudez/Rudesh?)
