She married Josef Klauzer and they immigrated from Slovenia via Havre in 1904. They first settled in PA then VA and finally IL. I have seen many variations on the spelling as Simoncec and Simonsic. Maria's sister's family changed it to Simonize when they came to the States. Maria's father(born abt 1850)was Friedrich Simonisek from Slovenia.
