My ancestor was Josef Staricha (Stariha) who first came to the US sometime between 1855 and 1864, went home home and then returned to the US in 1869. He settled in Minnesota. Joseph's father and mother were Johann and Anna Laurin, & he was born in Sadinja vas #5. He had a brother, Johann, who died in Laibach, Austria. Does this match up with any of your family history?
