He also cited his race as "Ruthenian". The closest match that I've been able to find is the town of Tenovice in the Czech Republic (south east of Pilsen, between Pilsen and Prague). Without knowing a city, based upon what I've learned of the family and the Ruthenian connection, I would have guessed the city to be MUCH further east. The birth city is listed as (sp) Schodrica, also (at the time) Austria. Any leads on that could (possibly) lead me in the right direction as well. I've uploaded a image of the two cities as they were written on the form in the event that I am misinterpreting what Im seeing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
