Theresa Korosec was my grandmother. She was born in Stein, Austria and lived in Llubianja. She had a multitude of siblings. She married Franck Cembernic, and both settled in Toledo Ohio. She had relatives in Chicago. Suggest you email me direct at pk@geoprobe.org. I can provide more detail. I know nothing else about my family's history in Slovenia unfortunately. I believe my great-great grandma was born around 1880 but have no idea what province she was from. I know that my grandma did serve the allies during WW2 in a camp in Austria adn then later was transported to the states from a port in Germany by the allies. Or at least that's the family story. I thank you for your info though. it gives me a starting point on where to possibly look. thanks very much > > Important Note: > The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
