His traveling campanion was (not sure of first name - maybe Johan) Penca. They came to Imperial, Pennsylvania and lived with Penca's brother andwife John and Frances. Penca was age 24 and Josef Redek was 23. Are there any Redek's now living in Novo Mesto. What kind of records are available for family history research. I have no information on the family of Josef Redek. Could this Penca be related to your contact in Slovenia? Thank you for your answer.
