I looked in my German to English Dictionary it says: ROTE RUHR-dysentery FRAISEN-(epileptic) seizures, convulsions ZUNDAG-Sunday Gedarmentzundung-this could be a date and died on Sunday. Hello everyone, I am new to Rootsweb-Slovenia and hoping that someone may know of or help me with my genealogy research of the families below. The bold entry was my husband's Grandfather and Grandmother. The name Pavlin is also spelled: PAULIN and PAULINE in the United States. We know that Aloizia, Josef and Ignatius were all in DePue, Bureau County, Illinois, USA in the early 1900's as we have a photo of them there. We believe that Ignatius returned to Slovenia but the other two stayed and died in the United States. We do not know if their parents or other brother and sisters ever came to the United states but doubt it. Most of the information that is contained in the following tree was received second hand from a relative who received a letter from Ljubljana back in 1988.
