These are great tips. I'm very new at this. I ordered my first films from a center over 50 miles away because they had a printer. The center at half the distance doesn't. Went through them and was going to let them be sent back thinking I got all the info. On the last day I start through one of them again just killing some time. This time I noticed a surname I had been researching in another town. Parents were the same. This explain the 6 years with no babies -- they moved!! The printer was out of order for the last three weeks I was there. I re-ordered the same films from the closer center. I have a digital camera. Could those whose use one to photograph and print these films give me some suggestions? What software do you use? What size picture do you find best? All comments will be greatly appreciated. One other thought. I skipped over Baptisms with the same surname when I didn't recognize the parents. I noted it but didn't pay too much attention. Big mistake. I later noticed two baptisms on the same page with the same surname but different parents. That's when I noticed the SAME ADDRESS!! Looks like when my grandparents moved to Palanka they lived with one of his relatives. Since both families were having babies it probably was a brother or first cousin.
