Kathleen, Was Lenard her married name? When I received information from Catholic Church in Blairsville, PA, USA it included baptismal data on several children. The mother's name was listed as her maiden name. ie: Magdelena Santi, father Joseph Santi, mother Christina Kovasic; Steven Mistrick, father Steven Mistrick, mother Elizabeth Santi. In a couple of places the priest added a j onto the end of Santi but not consistently. I also have a fairly recent baptism of my nephew in 1960 from an Episcopal Church that gives his parents as Betty Jo Lunsford and Charles G. Santi, Jr. So I would guess that using the mother's maiden name is not too unusual. At least in some churches. Sandy
