My grandmother was born in the US, while it appears, her parents were trying to emigrate from Slovakia. The family returned to Slovakia shortly after her birth, and she and a brother returned unaccompanied when Gram was 14. I know when and how the two children arrived, but I've never been able to locate any of the earlier crossings. I also know that my great-grandfather, like so many Eastern Europeans of the day, worked at Bethleham Steel. I've written to them, but surprise, no answer! Does anyone know if any records of Bethlehem Steel employees from the early 1900's might exist and be available somewhere? Lorrie
