To ensure you make the most of the List, please use the Subject line when posting messages, and ensure the Subject line makes it clear to the reader that it is a genealogy message. In this era of computer viruses, many people automatically delete e-mail messages without reading them if they don't recognize the sender's user name, they don't know it's a genealogy list message, and if there is no subject listed. I opened your recent posting at my own risk and don't normally do so. If people don't read your message, you won't reach the people you hope to reach for breakthroughs in your research.
