Hi, I am new to the list and finally got around to posting the surnames that I am researching, I am searching for my Slovakian roots, so hopefully someone will recognize these names: GROHOL (GROHOLSKI a possible name variation), BREZNICKY (BREZNICKI). I believe both my great grandfathers, Andrew Grohol and Andrew Breznicky came to America in the late 1890's or early 1900's and both settled in a town called Humboltd, PA, which is a township of Hazleton, PA. John Breznicky and Anna ANTOLIK came to America also, I believe if not earlier. Seeking information on them and all my decendants from Slovak region. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Joseph, I see in the Genealogical Research Society's database: Anna Breznicky, d/o Andrew & Agnes Botsko, born 12 Oct 1927 Ashley, Luzerne Co., Pa. died 15 Nov 1997, Wilkes Barre, Luzerne Co., Pa. her siblings were Andrew, Helen, & Susan. I also see 17 Antolick's buried in Nanticoke, Luzerne Co., PA. Antolick: Anna, 7 days old, d 16 Jan 1907 Anne, 65y 8m, buried 13 Feb 1918 John, 24y 2m 3d, d5 July 1906 Joseph, b 1859, buried 5 May 1922 Mary 38y, buried 22 Mar 1922 John 67y, buried 17 July 1917 Hope this helps Joe Bryer Olyphant, Pa.
