Chris, On my very first Slovakia tour with Helene Cincebeaux & crew, we met & spoke several times with a Joseph Krall who was visiting relatives near Michalovce & who currently lives just outside of Charlotte, NC. (I live just south of Raleigh.) I since got to know him. Though I haven't spoken with him in a few years, I had visited him a couple times...& he & his wife visited me once, & he once came to visit with two friends who were visiting him from Michalovce.
