David, Read somewhere that the first son was named after the paternal grandfather, the second son after the father, and the third son after the maternal grandfather. That held true with my father and 2 uncles. Girls were frequently named after their mother or grandmother. The two most common girls names were Maria and Susanna (and various spellings of that). Do you know if your family ever spelled the name Jarosy or Jarosz? Curious because that is the name of my Great grandmother, from Sumiac and Jelsava in Gemer County, as it is today. Joyce
