Michael Hudaschko/Hudasko left Kalinisti with a John, either a brother or a cousin & went to Somas,Saros, Hungary, now Drienov. I was told he and a brother Andrew were left orphans at age 6 & 4 in 1850. Are their any church or census records of Kaliniste? Was the name changed? Michael married Elizabeth Dombromfsky/Dobronsky Feb. 5 1868 of Somos and John married Mary Merkowsky of Somos. Elizabeth is related to Kmetz/Kmecz, but I don't know how, possibley her grandmother.Michael B 1844 & Elizabeth B1850 are my great grandparents, they had 8 children and imigrated to Streator. Illinois. I believe they came seperately to USA. I have the films of Somas and a lot of Hudachko's appear back a few generations. I would like to find Michael's parents and did they originally come from Somas. Can anyone help me?
