Rootsweb offers this free service so that we can exchange information on one topic only -- SLOVAKIA. Please don't abuse the privelege. Second, to make matters worse, the recent virus warning forwarded to the list was indeed a hoax. So, in addition to not forwarding off-topic information to the SLOVAKIA list, please do your friends a favor and check out such warnings before you forward the emails. In addition to the McAfee and Norton links provided by Melissa, you can go to http://www.snopes.com, where you will find a search engine. Just enter some key words from the "warning" you have received, and you will find abundant information -- whether it is a hoax or not.
