Greetings, I'm trying to track down the parents of my great-grandfather Elmer Andrew Stewart or Stuart, born 2/15/1861 in Mecklenburg Co., NC, died 3/10/1925. Mecklenburg Co., probably Cornelius, NC. Familysearch.com has an entry for him showing his father as ? Stuart, born 1835, Lemley Township, Mecklenburg Co., NC and his mother ? SLOAN, born 1837 in Lemley Township, Meck. Co., NC.
