The Sloan-Slone List is not part of the "interactive" search, yet. I've found that the interactive list doesn't work very well. If you ask for John Sloan you get all Johns and all Sloans. To search the Sloan-Slone list, do this: 1. go to: http://www.rootsweb.com/rootsweb/searches/ 2. From the Table of contents, select: Search a million messages from over 6,300 mailing lists 3. In the "name of list" box, type: sloan-slone 4. Type in your query For example, type in Agnes Auld for the year 1999 and you'll get the 3 messages recently posted. If you type in: John Sloan for the year 1998 you get 97 matches. Iy you type in: (John Sloan) and westmoreland you get 2 messages concerning John Sloan of Westmoreland Co. Pa. It's a nice search engine.
