    3. Rob, My ggrandfather, Samuel Eugene Sloan (1871-1936) was born in Rowan Co. NC. I have a picture of him when he was a young man approx 20-25yrs old. On the back of the photo it says "S.E. Sloan, Gonzales Texas". I have no idea why he was in TX. Maybe he was visiting relatives? I know it is a long shot, but you never know. Philip Sloan ---------- >From: "Sloan, C.
