Hello list folks... Just to show the list is alive and useful.... FYI. Today I was reading records from Dickson County, Tenn. and found two Sloans in the very deeds index. David Sloan abt 1815 and Dickson Sloan abt 1820. Dickson Sloan was selling land to A. Dickson (Alexander? Dickson) That surely is our Duplin, NC, Sloans and Dicksons. See you here later...
