hi, I have had the same sort of problem. A Sloan "relative" sent me a file and when I opened it, I got infected. About an hour later the phone rang and it was the relative telling me not to open it, but too late. My backups are not working so I have lots and lots of retyping to do. I'm no longer opening attachments or downloading files. People like me are dangerous to others. I don't know enough about what I am doing and could send something on to you in all innocence . So, like Ellie, I'm asking that you are putting something in email, that you don't put it in as an attachment. Thanks, Beth Sloan -----Original Message----- From: EllieSS@aol.com <EllieSS@aol.com> To: SLOAN-SLONE-L@rootsweb.com <SLOAN-SLONE-L@rootsweb.com> Date: Friday, April 30, 1999 07:03 Subject: Re: [SLOAN-SLONE-L] Re: George thomas Sloan of Laurens Co.
