I am interested in this line as well. My last proven ancestor is Samuel who lived in Jackson County (Sloan Hollow) (b. ~1826 AL, m. Jane Ray). I think his father was Samuel (possibly Samuel Mark) (b. ~1790). It also seems possible that his grandfather is Samuel (b. 1756-8 NC, m. Elizabeth Patterson) rather than Jesse, but again has not been proven. This info is in Frank's database.
