Catherine, Sorry I'm slow responding, however, I may have some good info on your family. I had George & Rebecca and the kids (+-) in my old database, however I had never made the connection to Laurens Co. SC. When I looked at my Sloans of Laurens Co. SC. my 1st reaction was "Sorry, Catherine this is Donna Warner's line can't be the same" However, on 2nd look I think you are exactly right. I had traced George "Jr" to 1840 Hall Co. GA. and dead end there: FILE # 848 INDEX # V102 NAME: GEORGE ALLEN SLOAN BORN: 20 JUL 1796 SPARTANBURG Co. SC. DIED: Living 1840 HALL Co. GA. PARENTS: GEORGE T. I need to recheck where I found that info. I certainly looks like your George A. Sloan. It that's true than George Sloan Sr. is: ***************** FILE # 838 INDEX # V1 NAME: GEORGE T.
