I am a new subscriber to this list. I am connected to David Sloan, b. 1753 in Ireland; married Susan Major 19 Jan 1784 in Wilkes Co., NC. They had 12 children. He and his wife Susan died in SC in what is now Anderson Co. He died in 1826, Susan in 1853. David had brother, William whose wife was Polly ??. Polly brought suit against David in 1796 after William's death. There are other court records in Franklin Co., GA that document land transactions that involved David and William Sloan. Seeking information about David and William related to parents/other siblings and relationship to other Sloan families in NC and SC in this time period. Sheila
