"MIGHT" be the Archibald Sloan nephew of this James Sloan. His sister Elizabeth apparently m. a Sloan and had a son Archibald. This Archibald is listed as heir to James & Eliz. brother's Samuel in 1771. This Archibald relocated to Rockbridge/Botetourt Co. VA. That's the first of I heard of an Archibald in Berkley Co. VA.
