Hi Folks, Would anyone happen to know the parents of this Elizabeth Sloan? 1. ELIZABETH SLOAN was born Abt. 1747 in LANCASTER Co. PA., and died Aft. 1779 in ROWAN Co. NC.. She married ANDREW MORRISON 26 March 1766 in ROWAN Co. NC.. (Andrew son of William Morrison and Margaret ???) Two of the children of ELIZABETH SLOAN and ANDREW MORRISON are: i. WILLIAM HAYS MORRISON, b. 07 January 1767, Rowan Co., NC; d. 22 August 1837, Bedford Co., Tenn.; m. MARY HAYNES, 1795, Rowan Co., North Carolina. ii. ANDREW SLOAN MORRISON, b. 27 November 1779, ROWAN Co. NC.; d. 05 January 1844, Madison, JEFFERSON Co. IN.; m. SARAH HAYNES, 11 March 1801, IREDELL Co. NC.. Sources: 1. Coddle Creek John Sloan of Lancaster Co. PA., VA. and NC. This is the Sloan Line I usually refer to as the "Ironmaster" line.
