I have an interest in the background of Charlotte Elizabeth Sloan who was born Feb. 3, 1832 (presumably in Mecklenberg County, NC) and died March 1, 1919. She married Samuel A. Douglas. She was my g grandmother, mother of my grandmother, Minnie Douglas Elliott. Jim Elliott msajde@inet.net
