Many of the posts have listed people from the smae locations and I hope someone has run across them. General H. Kirby b- Nov 1849 TN Clinton Kirby b- 1850 TN Alice Kirby b- 1854 IL Dewit Kirby b- 1863 IL I was in SLC last week and found some Deed abstracts from Smith County, TN from 1835-1852 US/CAN 976.852 R2p V2 compiled by Thomas E. Partlow. On page 17 Samuel Kearby to Austin Kearby a tract of land on Defeated Creek. 12 Dec 1836 (original pg. 290-291). pg 44 William Kearby to James Kearby a tract of land on Goose Creek 21 Nov 1837 (pg. 178) pg. 231 Austin Kerby to William Kerby a tract of land 19 Sep 1841 (pg. 353) pg. 42 John Kirby to Drury Cornwell a tract of land on Defeated Creek 28 Dec 1836 (pg. 149-141) There seems to be relationship between Austin, Samuel, William, James and John at least. There were some others mentioned being Franklin, Nathaniel, Jesse, Sarah A., Richard and Lucy. There were numerous Sloans also. I violated my own rule though and didn't copy every page with a reference to these families.
