The Friends of Freedmen's Cemetery introduce their new website, http://www.freedmenscemetery.org. The site briefly describes the history of a Civil War-era cemetery for former slaves in Alexandria, Virginia. It also contains primary source material for those doing geneaological research on African Americans in Alexandria.
