Hi Everyone,          As some of you know, the Freedmen-L and Slave Owners-L are new and just started in last few weeks.On Saturdays, I do look-ups for the listers. RULES ARE- One name per person. Must include state or states, they were known to live in. Must be from a slave family, which includes Native Americans, African Americans also the Irish and some others as well. Any story of family slave members, is most welcome. After this list has had a chance to grow, I would like to see the Freedmen and Slave Owners Archives loaded with valuble info that many Freed Slaves and their families can use in research.If you know the name the the Slave Owners, this is also a very big help. It will allow me to research the family, and provide you the listers with valuble info. PLEASE feel free to send in your family story.
