I have been searching Westerly, Rhode Island cemeteries, and accidentally found the burials listed below. They may not be useful to anyone, but someone on the List may be interested in them, so I thought I should copy them, just in case. Westerly, Rhode Island Sisson burials BARBER GROUND Children of Thomas Sisson (no further data) ............................................................. DUNHAM GROUND Peleg Sisson(5), (grandson of Thomas Sisson(3), son of Peleg Sisson(4), born abt. 1751, died 1799) Wife of Peleg Sisson Timothy Sisson: (born 1777, son of the above Peleg Sisson (Jr.) Abby Sisson, wife of Ichabod Sisson(Jr.) Ichabod was the son of Ichabod, (Sr.), born abt.1839, 1880 census gives his age as 42, and his occupation as a fisherman. Rosina Sisson (no information found) John Sisson (no information found) Note: The Barber ground with the children of Thomas Sisson graves was located "abt. 40 rods east of the Back Road, unenclosed in a meadow." The Dunham ground with the Peleg Sisson graves was also located "abt. 30 rods east of the Back Road," so the burials must have been related. .............................................................. CAPTAIN THOMAS SISSON LOT About 25 graves, no further information. I tried to locate information on the Captain, but was unable to, it would be nice to know if he was possibly a captain in the Revolutionary War.
