Scisson the daughter of Miles K. Sisson and Lucidney Sidney Jane Burgess born in Lawrence County KY. She is shown in the 1880 Census of Lawrence County KY living in the household of William A. Carter, her brother-in-law. Her siblings were: George J.; Sarah Evaline; Emily Francis; Lumuel Luman; Charles Virgil; Miles K.; and Millie Scisson/Sisson. Her mother couldn't read or write, therefore the last name is spelled two different way. SCISSON and SISSON.
