Elias De Long, of New York. Daughter of Frederick Plummer Sisson and Mary Ann Field, his wife. Granddaughter of Luman Field and Abigail De Long, his wife; Pardon Sisson and Merissa Hinckley, his wife. Gr.-granddaughter of Aaron De Long and Sylina Bingham, his wife; Timothy Hinckley and Salome Strong, his wife; Elisha Field, Jr., and Ruth Kirkham, his wife. Gr.-gr.-granddaughter of Jeremiah Bingham and Abigail Hawkes, his wife; Jared Hinckley and Anne Hyde, his wife; Daniel Strong and Esther Chappel, his wife; Elisha Field and Betty Pratt, his wife; Elias De Long and Isabel Dickinson, his wife; and of Elijah Kirkham. Jeremiah Bingham was at Bennington and served in the commissary in the Burgoyne campaign. He was born at Norwich, 1748, and died at Cornwall, Vt., 1842. Elisha Field and his son Elisha served in frontier defense. They are both buried at Cornwall, Vt. Jared Hinckley (1731-1820) enlisted from Lebanon, and was at White Plains, Germantown, Fort Mifflin and Monmouth. Daniel Strong (1719-1808) served at New York, and was under Gen. John Sullivan at the battle of Rhode Island. Elijah Kirkham was at the battle of Bunker Hill. Elias De Long served under different commands and as lieutenant of Levies under Col. William Malcom.
