I got the date wrong. It is 1586. There is also a marriage listing for a George Sisson and Margaret Watkin from Burton Latimer, Northamptonshire for 1615, which would eliminate this George from being Richard's father. I believe this is the George that we all believe was here before or during the time of Richard. There are other Sisson's listed in other part's of England around this time also. Larry l. There is an old record of a George Sisson coming to America from Burton Latimer, England but it doesn't give much info. There are some new records on ancesty about English Christenings. I put in Sisson and 1600 and came up with a few Sisson's, one named George with a date of 1576 or 1578 from Burton Latimer, Northhamtonshire. There were a couple others from there with similar dates.
