    3. Dear Friends and Cousins, I am a faithful reader of Eastman's Online Genealogy Newsletter (which has free subscriptions - see URL below). This week's issue carries an announcement about a new website, Genealogy Librarian News. In the upper left-hand corner of the home page of the News, you will find a section called "New Resource Online: GenealogyBank." I clicked on the link* ** http://www.genealogybank.com/gbnk/keyword.html?s_trackval=blog& <http://www.genealogybank.com/enter/blog> *and entered Sisson in the blank, and found literally thousands of references to the name available. Don't miss this site! Of course any other surname would probably find the same results, or better. David Arne Sisson /The following article is from Eastman’s Online Genealogy Newsletter and is copyright 1996 - 2007 by Richard W. Eastman. It is re-published here with the permission of the author. Information about the newsletter is available at / http://www.eogn.com <http://www.eogn.com/>/./ Genealogy Librarian News Tom Kemp of GenealogyBank has launched a blog: Genealogy Librarian News. Tom reports that back in the late 90's he began an e-mail newsletter of the same name Genealogy Librarian News. He has decided that the time is now ripe to bring the newsletter back in a modern format: as a blog available both in a web browser and as an RSS data feed. I took a look at the new blog and found articles about a new genealogy room being opened at a public library in Oklahoma, the Table of Contents from the latest Illinois State Genealogical Society Quarterly, the latest Table of Contents from The Maine Genealogist, and more. You can read the Genealogy Librarian News at http://genlibrarian.blogspot.com <http://genlibrarian.blogspot.com/>. If you use an RSS newsreader, point it to http://genlibrarian.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default?alt=rss.
