On Almira's death certificate it list Myra/Almira Sison as mother and Reuben Weed Benedict 1st as father. Almira/Myra Jane Benedict-Hawkins b. Nov. 28, 1851 & d. Dec. 14, 1883 married Lamott Hawkins July 1870. Almira/Elmira/Myra Sisson/Sison-Benedict 1st was b. Jan. 16, 1818. She was first married to a Mr. Williams before Benedict. It is believed that she may have death out west with her one daughter family ( Mary Elizabeth Benedict who married Bernard Lee).
