Notes for William Sisson: Thomas L. Norris appears in the 1805 Jefferson Co. Census with one male over > 21, one male under 21, four females and six slaves. Also listed in this > census was James Norris (living next to Thomas). > Thomas apparently died in 1810 (see court case in 1837 below). > In the 1810 Jefferson Co. Notes for James Sisson: In probate records after James died he left all his property to all his children and his widow Abigail to be divided equal. His older children sold off all of the land left to them by their father to relatives. These relatives were Boggs, Norris, Noland, Batchelor, Dent families.
