Amos Maine (1745-1815) commanded a company of foot, 1780, in the Connecticut militia. He was born and died in Stonington, Conn. . Ebenezer Cary (1745-1815) signed the Articles of Association, 1775; was commissioned adjutant and muster master of the Dutchess County, New York militia, 1776; elected to the Legislature, 1780, and served two terms. He was born in Providence, R. I.; died in Beekman, N. Y. . Joshua Champlin (1710-90) was an associator and commanded a company of Dutchess County, New York militia, 1775. He was born in Westerly, R. I.; died in Beekman, N. Y.
