This project was a labor of love as well as a technological challenge. Over 6,000 photographs of The Wall in Washington, D.C. were taken by photographer Peter Krogh. After viewing and sorting through the photos, nearly 1,500 of the highest quality photos were stitched together creating one of the largest photos found on the Internet. This interactive version of the Wall has been a gathering place for friends, family, and survivors to add their thoughts, memories, comments, and photos. At the March 26 press conference, Footnote CEO Russ Wilding said, "We hope this will be a means for healing and paying tribute...to those who sacrificed for our country." The Vietnam Wall on Footnote is offered free of charge to all who visit.
